 This was bred to be less variable in color and it succeeded, with fewer plants reverting to green. Protect this one from heavy, frequent rains. It’s a purple version of large leaf basil, albeit pink buds, and literally luminates a fruit salad, stir-fry, salsa, or even eggs.
