Society Garlic
| Botanical Name: |
Tulbaghia violacea |
| Life Cycle: |
Hardy Perennial |
Description/Size:
|
As with most green varieties, this grows larger and more vigorously than its variegated cousin. 2-3" pale lavender balls appear well above foliage and as garlic tidbits over salads, but start sparingly. Excellent substitute for overused spikes as a linear texture for mixed containers. Much more winter hardy than it looks!
