Grayish green crinkled leaves and tidy little mounds, surprise you in the spring. Summer flowering results in a rank floppy appearance which can be controlled by pruning tips and garish white blossoms. For sore throats, we use 9 fresh leaves with 1 tbsp honey. To make your own candy, refer to Leslies Bremness' "The Complete Book of Herbs". (My first herb book that I studied and still enjoy.) |
