Miniature "Jack-in-the-Pulpit" is what comes to my mind initially when I admire this wonderful wet and woodland groundcover. Can become invasive if allowed, which can be a good problem. It is not consistently winter hardy in northern Ohio, but could be in area micro-climates. Contains ephedrine which is used in Chinese medicine for a variety of ailments. Great shade fairy garden plant!
