Boxwoods can be a challenge to maintain, but the smaller versions, like this 12""x12"" is not only the tiniest boxwood available, but more apt to overwinter without chunks of the plant succumbing to drying winds. It willingly accepts pruning into a ball or other shape, so it's naturally an ideal bonsai, hedge or mini RxR tree. Even amid flowering miniature perennials, it stands out as a trough specimen.
